KOONS, Joseph - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington, Nov 19 – Joseph Koons, 60, a resident of Covington his entire life, died suddenly of heart failure at his home here at 6 o’clock this evening. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Emma (Holycross) Koons; one daughter, Lulabelle at home; three sons: John at home; Lewis of Forrestville, Ill and Wilbur in the US Navy and one brother, Fred of Covington.  Mr. Koons was a member of the Pentecostal Church.  Funeral services will be held from the family home in Covington Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with burial in Mt.
