Mrs. Clara M. Bailey Kochell, 75, a former local resident, died at 7:35 p.m. Friday in Deaconist Hospital, Evansville. She had been a patient there two days and in ill health several years. She was a native of Jackson Township and lived most of her life there until one year ago when she moved to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lewis (Mary) Sexton of Evansville. In 1921 she was married to Raymond H. Kochell, who died in 1956. Mrs. Kochell was a member of Jackson Heights United Methodist Church. Surviving with the daughter with whom she lived are five other daughters, Mrs. Glen (Dorothy) Fox of Woodbridge, Va., Mrs. Alvin (Jean) Martin of Fern Creek, Ky., Mrs. Marion (Betty) Davis of Black Canyon, Ariz., Mrs. Kenneth (Jane) Bliston of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. James (Lois) Johns of Lafayette; and two sons, Herbert M. and Joseph D. Kochell, both of Lafayette. - jlr
