West Lebanon - Funeral rites were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Crowmer-Siddens Funeral Home here for Earl Leo Kochel, age 62, of Marshfield, who died about 5 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville. He had been admitted Monday. The Rev. Wilbert Williams officiated. Burial was in the West Lebanon Cemetery. Mr. Kochel was born Jan. 4, 1900, in Indiana, a son of George and Nettie R. Warner Kochel. He was married Sept. 6, 1929, to Belle Ellen Layton, who survives. Mr. Kochel had been a life resident of Warren County and a farmer. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mary Hay, of Marshfield, Dixie and Pauline, both at home; two sons, John and Donald, both in Missouri; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Balser of West Point, and three grandchildren. -- typed by Barbara B -
