Perrysville, Ind.—Mrs. Martha Jane Knox, 75, of Perrysville, died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday (May 15, 1974) at the Tall Trees Nursing Home in Covington. She had been a patient there since January.

  Born April 22, 1899, in Rockville, she was the daughter of George and Martha Durham Keller. She was married May 6, 1918, to John Knox, who died Dec. 25, 1965.

  A former resident of Montezuma, she had resided in Perrysville for the past 30 years. She was a member of Shaeffer Camp 9601 Royal Neighbors of America.

  Survivors include four daughters; Mrs. Agatha McMillan of South Bend, Mrs. Virginia Elfson of Gilbert, Minn., Mrs. Juanita Ping of Covington Rute 1 and Mrs. Mary Powell of Perrysville, three sons, Robert L. and John R., both of Detroit, Mich., and Kenneth R. of Perrysville; a sister, Mrs. Emma Lyons of Clinton; a half brother, Charles Keller of Ladoga; 32 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

  He was preceded in death by a brother, two half sisters and three grandchildren.

  Services were at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington, with the Rev. Dale Cadman officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery at Montezuma. -s
