KNOWLES, Clara Fisher

Clara M., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Fisher, was born in Marion county, Ohio, March 14, 1874; departed this life July  7, 1921; age 47 years, 3 months and 23 days. She came with her parents to Riverside, Indiana, when she was 4 years of age and has lived near there the remainder of her life. On December 14, 1892, she was united in marriage to Frank Knowles, of Independence, Indiana. To this union were born three daughters, Ethel, Alice R., and Rena C., and one son, William H. Knowles. She has been a constant but patient sufferer for fifteen years and on June 27, last, was taken to the Lafayette Home Hospital for treatment. On July 6, she underwent an abdominal operation and this proved to be too severe for her and she passed away at 10:57 a.m., July 7, 1921. She leaves to mourn her loss her father, William Fisher, of Riverside, Indiana, her husband Frank Knowles of Attica, Indiana, a son William Knowles, and two daughters, Mrs. Clint Anderson and Rena C., all of Attica, Ethel having died in infancy. Besides these she leaves one grandson, James C. Anderson, three sisters and four brothers, Eva E. Stephens, Jessie V. Shamp of Attica, Mrs. Harry Morgan, of Riverside, Indiana; Walter Fisher, of Decatur, Illinois; Harley and Will, of Riverside, and Guy of West Lebanon, Indiana; twenty-eight nieces and nephews, and a host of distant relatives and friends also remain to mourn her loss. “Some day Love shall claim His own, Some day Right ascends His throne: Some day hidden thoughts be known, Some day Some sweet day.”   --- Typing thanks to dkd
