Attica, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Anna Leatha Knight, 82, of 116 David Drive, died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday (June 20, 1967) in Community Hospital in Williamsport. She had been a patient there five days and in ill health five months. Born Dec. 20, 1884, at Twelve Mile, Ind., she was the daughter of Bruce Carr and Ida M. Eurit McKee. She was married to the Rev. James Wallace Knight Oct. 6, 1915, at Twelve Mile. He preceded her in death July 17, 1964. She is survived by two sons, Wallace M. and James M., both of Attica; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Webb of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Lois Stuart of Graettinger, Iowa; one brother, Merrill B. McKee of Sydney, Ohio, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Attica Methodist Church and the Women's Missionary Society in Twelve Mile. Mrs. Knight attended Taylor University for two years, and while there sang in the Ladies Quartet. For three years she taught school in Cass County, Ind. She and her husband lived in Missouri for eight years and later throughout the state of Indiana. She was a resident of Perrysville, Ind., for 17 years and for the past four years had lived in Attica. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Perrysville Methodist Church with burial in Lower Mound Cemetery, north of Perrysville. The Rev. Donald Ashley and the Rev. Donald True will officiate. Friends may call after 5 this evening at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. -- typed by Walt W
