Arthur Klage, age 61, resident of Lake Ridge Rd, Danville, a former Covington man and brother of Louis Klage, Covington Rt 3, died at 7:30 p.m. Monday May 22. He had suffered a heart condition for several years but his death was unexpected at this time. Mr. Klage was born in Sidney, Ill Nov 5, 1899 son of John and Lena Klage. The Klages moved to the Covington area when the deceased was young. He attended the Covington schools and following his marriage moved to Danville where he had lived for about 40 years. His wife preceded him in death July 13, 1953 and they had no children. Mr. Klage was foreman of the old Taylor Brothers Automotive Service in Danville for many years. He is surived by two brothers, Ernest of Danville and Louis of Covington; one sister, Mrs. Elvis Ward of Perrysville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Barrick & Sons Funeral Home, Danville. The Rev. Mr. Young, pastor of the Central Christian Church will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, north of Danville.
