Danville, Ill.—Winifred R. Kittell, 53, Danville, died at 5:08 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 1989 at United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville.
She was born Dec. 26, 1935 in Fairmount Ill., the daughter of Victor and Cecil Groves Keller. She was married April 11, 1954 in Danville to Kenneth W. Kittell, who survives.
She loved to read, sew and bake.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Keith, St. David, Ill., and Kevin, Danville; three daughters, Mrs. Ron (Diane) Barnett, Westville, Ill.; Mrs. Michael (Denise) Davis, stationed in Germany, and Mrs. Dave (Karen) Cheesman, Danville; a brother, Earl, Indianola, Ill.; Six sisters, Mrs. George (Mildred) Sheets and Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Calvin, both of Veedersburg; Mrs. Charles (Audrey) Delp, Crawfordsville; Dora Stein and Merle Irwin, both of Danville, and LaDoshia Hilgeman, Tilton, Ill., and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Bostwick officiating. Entombment was in Sunset Memorial Park. – thanks to S
