Lillian V. Kirsch, 70, RR 1, Veedersburg, died at 11 a.m. Sunday, December 18, at the Med Shed in Veedersburg. She had been taken there after becoming ill while driving to Attica with her husband.
Born October 6, 1913 in Warrick County, she was the daughter of James B. and Bertha Powell Addington. On September 3, 1931, she married Rev. Jacob A. Kirsch, who survives. A resident of Fountain County since 1955, she was a member of United Methodist Church of Kingman and United Methodist Women.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Vivian Goldman of Richland, Mrs. Mary West of Newburgh, and Mrs. Bertha Warrick of Attica; a son, A. Frederick Kirsch of Beech Grove; a brother, Walter Addington of Boonville; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie McCool of Vincennes, Mrs. Nora Barnett, Mrs. Elizabeth Holder and Mrs. Marjorie Warner, all of Boonville; 12 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and 13 step grandchildren.
Services were conducted Wednesday at Boulting House in Rockport with Rev. Alda Carter officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery near Hatfield. Dickerson Funeral Home of Veedersburg was in charge of local arrangements. – thanks to S
