Mrs. Blanche Kirkpatrick, widow of John Kirkpatrick died at 9:30 o’clock, Wednesday night at St. Elizabeth hospital. She had been ill with intestinal influenza and was taken to the hospital Jan 30. Last Sunday she admitted to a surgical operation. Death was due to complications that the operation failed to relieve. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was 37 years of age and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Schultz residing near Newtown. Her husband, John Kirkpatrick, was a graduate of Purdue University, class of 1908 and was killed Jan 26, 1925 when he came in contact with a high tension wire near his home. Mrs. Kirkpatrick resided at 343 Sylvia Street, West Lafayette coming here a short time ago from Newtown. Surviving are two small sons, Myron Paul and Lawrence L, also her parents and several brothers and sisters. The body was removed to the Coffing Funeral Parlors at Attica to be made ready for burial. - kbz
