KIRBY, Estella Solomen - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Estella J. Kirby of Williamsport, age 80, was dead on arrival at Williamsport Community Hospital, Thursday night, March 12. She was born at Kramer, September 13, 1900, the daughter of Lewis and Jane Clearwater Solomen. January 15, 1917, she married Homer Russell Kirby, who died June 24, 1977. Mrs. Kirby was a member of Attica Assembly of God Church and had lived most of her life in the Attica community.

  Surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Jennie Bennett of Kent, Washington, Mrs. Gwendolyn Allen of Williamsport, Mrs. Geraldine Gillespie of Sanford, Florida, Mrs. Margaret Bell of Lafayette, Mrs. Dorothy McMurtrie of RR 1, Attica, Mrs. Marilyn Clawson of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Mrs. Sharla Blythe of Stockton, California; two sons, Clifford of RR 1, Attica, and Robert of Apache Junction, Arizona; 20 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Joe Bell and Rev. Harvey Lange officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
