Perrysville - Glen Russell Kinney, age 71, of Perrysville, died at 7:45 am, Saturday, Oct. 26, in the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville, Ill., where he had been a patient since Sept. 19, 1968. Mr. Kinney was born Nov. 4, 1897, near Oakwood, Ill., the son of Charles and Margaret Stump Kinney. He was married Sept. 26, 1925 to Grace Skinner, who survives. He had been a farmer most of his life and had been a resident of the Perryville community since 1932. He attended the Coal Branch Church, west of Perryville. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are one son, Harlan Gene of Perrysville; two brothers, Harry of Danville and Basil of Paxton, Ill., and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Monday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Grover Williams officiated and burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery, southwest of Covington. -- typed by Barbara B
