KINNEY, Franklin C - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Franklin C. Kinney of Attica, age 70, died Tuesday morning, October 26, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. He was born at Danville, June 9, 1912, the son of Alfred C. and Elizabeth M. O’Toole Kinney. August 23, 1936, he married Ruth W. Waidelich, who survives. Kinney was a member of Attica Christian Church was formerly a volunteer with the Attica Fire Department. He worked in the maintenance department of Harrison Steel Casting Company for 20 years, retiring in 1977, and also worked part time at Dobbels Sunoco Service Station.

  Also surviving are a son, William of Calumet City, Illinois; a brother, Robert W. of Spanaway, Washington; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. James Boudouris officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park at Danville, Illinois.-s
