KINNEER, Cedric

Cedric (Ted) Kinneer, former Newtown grocer, died at 7:30 o’clock Saturday morning at the Lake View Hospital in Danville, Ill. He had been ill four weeks.

Born Aug. 6, 1919 at Cates, Mr. Kinneer was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kinneer. For four years prior to last January, Mr. Kinneer operated a grocery at Newtown. After selling out, he moved to Cates.

Surviving in addition to the widow, the former Miss Bennie Hiering, who he married Sept. 28, 1944, are a son, Teddy, 4, the parents and a sister, Mrs. J. B. Starkey of Attica.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star at Newtown.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon at the EUB church in Cates.
