KING, Irene Hancock

Mildred Irene (Hancock) King, of 303 N. Perry St., Attica, died Tuesday (June 15, 1971) at Dade County Memorial Hospital in Ft. Myers, Fla. She had been in ill health about two years; however, her death was sudden and unexpected. She was born at Stone Bluff on Sept. 13, 1905, the daughter of James and Mary Kunkle Hancock. She was married June 6, 1923, to Harry L. King, who survives. She lived in Attica about 40 years and was associated with her husband in the restaurant business at King's Cafe. She attended school at Stone Bluff. She is survived by two sons, Harry L. King, Jr., Rt. 2, Attica; Herbert King, Rt. 4, Attica; one daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Rosella) Wolfe, Attica; two sisters, Eva McFadden, Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Rona Shapiro, also of Danville; one brother, James R. Hancock, Stone Bluff; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
