Mrs. Ethel King, 40, died at 2 a.m. Monday in her home at Veedersburg following a serious illness of a year. Mrs. King was born June 14, 1904 at Hillsboro, the daughter of Joseph and Mollie Hodges. She was married Mar 24, 1923 to Roy King of Veedersburg. Surviving are the husband; two sons, Pfc. Lawrence King, Camp Breckenridge, KY and Donald at her; the parents, Mr. and Mrs, Hodges of Hillsboro and two brothers, Vernon, Ludlow Falls Ohio and Calvert,

Marengo, Ind. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Fisher-Funeral Home at Veedersburg with the Rev. OW McGaughey officiating. - kbz
