Williamsport—Everett Killman, Jr., 57, 110 Washington Street, Williamsport, died unexpectedly at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 1989 in Community Hospital, Williamsport. He had been in ill health one and a half months.
He was born Sept. 9, 1931 in Harrisburg, Ill., son of Everett and Lillian Penrod Killman Sr. He was married Jan. 28, 1962 in Danville, Ill., to Judy A. Bond, who survives.
He had lived in southern Illinois and the Veedersburg area three years, moving to the Williamsport area 12 years ago. He graduated from Johnson City High School, Johnson City, Ill.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, serving in Korea.
He had worked in the maintenance department at the Journal and Courier in Lafayette for three years and also worked in the maintenance department at Community Hospital in Williamsport for seven years.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Sam (Mary Sue) Thomas, rural Veedersburg, and Rene E., at home; four sons, Rick, Indianapolis; Paul, stationed with the U.S. Air Force in Limestone, Maine; Mark, stationed with the U. S. Navy in Norfolk, Va., and Kirk, at home; his mother of Johnson City; four brothers, Charles, Robert and Dick, all of Johnson City, and David of South Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. Chester (Roberta) Everly and Mrs. James (Carolyn) Linton, both of Johnson City, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Fisher Funeral Home, Williamsport. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Fisher Chapel with the Rev. Charles B. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace. – thanks to s
