Mrs. Lena May Kilby, 69, a former resident of Covington died Saturday at her residence in Lantana, Florida. She attended Covington Schools and farmed east of here for many years. A former member of the Covington Presbyterian Church, she moved to Florida four years ago. She was born Dec 18, 1887 at Clinton, Indiana the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Harrison and was adopted by the Peter Harmon family at age 6. She married Neil Kilby in 1912. Survivors include the husband, a daughter, Mrs. Mary Brown of Franklin, Indiana; four sons: Edward and Frank P of Indianapolis and Harmon and Arthur of Lantana; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Darter of Lantana and Mrs. Jess McGregor of Carmel, Calif; a brother, Roy Harrison of San Antonio, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home of Covington was in charge of the arrangements. – kbz
