Waynetown, March 6 Mrs. Nancy Ann Keys, 75 years old, widow of Jason Keys, died Friday night at 11:40 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Virgil Ellis, five miles south of Crawfordsville. She had been seriously ill since suffering a stroke of apoplexy four weeks ago. Born Dec. 19, 1867, near Waynetown, the daughter of John and Nancy Ball Mullen. Mrs. Keys was married to Jason Keys, June 11, 1885, at Danville, Ill, the husband preceding her in death Sept 17, 1941. Mrs. Keys was a member of the Waynetown Methodist church and had always resided in this community, except since the death of her husband when she had made her home with the daughter near Crawfordsville. Also surviving are; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Bannon of Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Ralph Booker of Mount Vernon; two sisters, Mrs, George Risk of North Salem, and Mrs, Aura Keys of Crawfordsville; a brother, Mose Mullen, also of Crawfordsville; two grandsons and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a daughter, who passed away in 1926. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning at the Waynetown Methodist church, with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine officiating. Burial will be at Waynetown Masonic cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the home of the daughter, south of Crawfordsville, as the body will be kept there preceding the rites.
