Veedersburg - Mrs. Minnie Lee Kester, 83 was found dead in her home at 8 a.m. Sunday by a neighbor, Mrs. Helen Thomas. She had been in failing health the last 3 years. Born Feb 28, 1881 at Palmer, Ark, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson. She married Jacob Kester in 1907. He died in 1950. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Margaret Benninger of Danville, Ill and 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mrs. Kester was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fishero Funeral Home, Rev. James Dyson will officiate. Interment will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Minnie Lee Kester, 83, of Veedersburg, was found dead at 8 a.m. Sunday June , in bed at her home. She had been in failing health several years.
Born Feb. 28, 1881, in Palmer, Ark., she was the daughter of, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson. She was married in 1907 to Jacob Kester, who preceded her in death in 1950. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include a step daughter, Mrs. Margaret Benninger of Danville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fishero Funeral Home. The Rev. James Dyson officiated. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery.
