Waynetown—Brian Kerry, 43, Waynetown, died Friday evening, May 19, 1989 in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born Dec. 19, 1945 at Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of Theodore and Dorothy St. Denis Kerry. He was married May 3, 1966 at Waynetown to Bonnie Ray, who survives.
He was a graduate of St. Clair High School at Pittsburgh; in 1963 he attended Georgetown College, Georgetown, Ky., and graduated from Nazarene Bible College, Colorado Springs, Colo., in 1975. He was an ordained elder and member of Crawfordsville’s First Church of the Nazarene. He formerly was a pastor in Nazarene churches in Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Texas.
He was a sales representative at Montgomery County Credit Bureau. Prior to that he was employed at the Penny Record newspaper at bridge City, Texas. He moved to Montgomery County 10 months ago from Texas.
Surviving besides his wife are his father of Jupiter, Fla.; a son, Micah, at home; two brothers, Keith, Davenport, Iowa, and Alan, Los Angeles Calif., an uncle and three aunts. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Gerald Painter officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
