KERR, Robert H. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Robert H. Kerr of Attica, age 90, died Tuesday morning, September 20, in Home Hospital at Lafayette. He was born in Davis Township, September 30, 1892, the son of John Wesley and Mary Elizabeth Cade Kerr. In June of 1916, he married Mary Bell Brown, who survives.

  Kerr was a member of the United Methodist Church at Lyons, Iowa, Harrison Hills Country Club, a 50-year member of Wabash Masonic Lodge, and a member of Scottish Rite at Clinton, Iowa. A graduate of Attica High School, he attended Purdue University and was employed as chief engineer with Climax Engine Company in Clinton, Iowa, retiring in 1962.

  Also surviving are a sister, Dorothy Rozell of Attica; and several nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held Friday morning at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. R. Larry Smith officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
