Newtown – Mrs. Isabella Kerr, 92, a resident of the Newtown area since 1897, died at 12:30 pm Saturday at her home one mile east of the city following an illness of several years. A native of Beamsville, Ont., Canada. Mrs. Kerr was born Oct. 16, 1874. She married Guy W. Kerr Nov. 17, 1897. He preceded her in death July 4, 1935. Mrs. Kerr was a member of the Newtown Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John Wilson of Hazelton, Pa.; two sons, Samuel of Waynetown and Fletcher of rural Newtown; a grandson, Samuel Kerr of Vermillion, SD, and a granddaughter, Miss Virginia Kerr of Glasgow, Scotland. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Tuesday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Peter Heemstra officiating. Burial will be in Newtown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm today.

Mrs, Isabella Kerr, age 92, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at her home a mile east of Newtown, She had been ill several years.
Mrs. Kerr was born in Beamsville, Ontario, Canada, Oct. 16, 1874. She was married Nov. 17, 1897, to Guy W. Kerr, who preceded her in death July 4, 1925.  She was a member of the Newtown Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by: one daughter, Mrs. john Wilson of Hazelton, Pa; two sons, Samuel Kerr of Waynetown and Fletcher Kerr of near Newtown; one grandson, Samuel of Vermilion, S. Dak., and one granddaughter, Virginia Kerr of Glasgow, Scotland.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Peter Heemstra officiated and burial was in the Newtown Cemetery.
