KERKHOVE, Victor - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica – Victor “Vic” E Kerkhove, 96, formerly of Attica and had been residing in Mount Juliet, TN passed away on Tuesday Feb 10, 2015 in the Alive Hospital Center, Madison, Tn.  Victor was born in Attica, Indiana on Dec 13, 1918. He was the son of the late Edmond and Marie Mussche) Kerkhove.  Victor graduated from Attica HS in 1937 and had lived most of his life in Attica before moving to Mount Juliet, TN in 2009 to be near family.  Victor was a self-employed carpenter and worked in many of the homes in Attica and the area.  He was a member of the Veedersburg Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness.  On June 8, 1956, Victor married Betty Jean Helms in Williamsport, IN. She preceded him in death Dec 15, 2007.  Victor leaves behind is son, Garry (Wife: Sarah) Kerkhove, Mount Juliet, TN; four grandchildren Nicole, Natalie, Kristen and Luke Kerkhove. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Bernard Kerkhove along with a sister, Emma Larson.  Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica on Sat Feb 14th from 2-5 p.m.  Services will be held on Sunday Feb 15th at 1:00 p.m. in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica .  Condolences may be sent on line to www.mausfuneral home.com - kbz
