KELLER, Mary Rahm

Mary K. “Kate” Keller, 60, of
Covington, died at 3 a.m. at Home Hospital in Lafayette Monday, February 22,
1999. She was born October 12, 1938, in Covington to Arthur Lewis and Mary
Ellen Knee Rahm. She was married January 22, 1955 to James C. Keller, he died
in 1985. She is survived by a son, Howard "Sonny" (Susan) Keller of
Covington; two brothers, Archie Rahm of Georgetown, Ill. and John Rahm of
Kingman; three sisters, Frances Shumaker and Mildred Roarks, both of Covington
and Margaret Osborn of Veedersburg; and four grandchildren and a
great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Mrs. Keller was a
member of the Covington V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, mushrooming,
playing cards and was a Cub's fan. Services were Wednesday, February 24, 1999
at 10 a.m. at Dickerson Funeral Home with Merle Suiters officiating. Burial was
in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington. Preferred memorials to the American Cancer
Association or the American Heart Association. – jlr
