Ladoga – Manson Keller of Ladoga retired farmer died at 3 a.m. Monday (April 10) at Culver Hospital. He had been in failing health for 18 years and hospitalized for only a week. Mr. Keller was a longtime Ladoga area resident and member of the Parkersburg Christian Church. He was born in Wallace May 21, 1881 the son of William and Mahala Dowden Keller. On Dec 23, 1900 he married Nannie L. Rivers in Waveland. Surviving are the wife of Ladoga; three sons, Harold and Vernice of Ladoga and Glenn of Owensboro, Ky; five daughters: Mrs. Ruby Obenchain of Ladoga; Zelma Keller of Indianapolis; Mrs. Walter Williams of Pompano Beach, Fla; Mrs. CO Fluery of LaJolla, Calif and Mrs. Howard Camplin of Vincennes; three brothers, Harry of Crawfordsville; Aaron of Logansport and Howard of Pontiac, Ill; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Leighty of Mellott and Mrs. Flossie Simmons of Veedersburg; 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. A son preceded him in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Gephart Funeral Home in Ladoga with Rev. Paul Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery near Wallace.
