Mrs. Laura Keller, aged 84, lifetime resident of the Wallace neighborhood, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde Evans, in Crawfordsville Monday night after a 13-week illness. Born June 20, 1860 near Alamo, Mrs. Keller was the daughter of John Hamm and Sarah Shular Hamm. She was married April 8, 1875 to Wash Keller who died 27 years ago. Mrs. Keller was a member of the Christian Church at Wallace. Four daughters and one son survive -- Mrs. Joe Clouse, Hamilton, Ohio; Mrs. Chriss Bess of Wallace; Mrs. Freeman Furr of Terre Haute and Mrs. Evans of Crawforsville at whose home she died and Nye Keller of Tucson, AZ. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday afternoon at the Centennial Church near Yeddo the body lying in state an hour preceding the service.
