KELLER, Clarence

Clarence (Nick) Keller, 69-year-old former resident of this city, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday in St. John's Hospital at Anderson. He had been in failing health 5 months. Mr. Keller had resided at Anderson since 1941 and was employed there by the Lynch Foundry Co. He lived here before moving to Anderson and was employed here by the Crawfordsville Foundry. BOrn Jan 2, 1896, in Fountain County, he was a son of Horace and Laura Davis Keller. Survivors include two sons, Paul Raymond Keller of Anderson and Clarence Keller who is serving in the USAF and is stationed at Omaha, Neb; a brother, Jess Keller of Covington; four half-sisters, Mrs. Eliza Crowder of Williamsport; Mrs. Verna Crowder of Perrysville; Miss Lacey Woods of Danville, Ill and Mrs. Letha Cunningham of Mecca; a half-brother, Gene Woods of Rt 1, Covington and a granddaughter. A brother-in-law, George Tobey resides on Rt 7, Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington, Rev. Donald Ashley will officiate. Interment will be in the Snoddy Cemetery south of Covington. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home. -- kbz
