KELLER, Amy Pithoud - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

In the quiet, peaceful and prosperous country home of Uncle Elisha and Aunt Margaret Ratcliff Pithoud, situated in Millcreek Township, Fountain County, Indiana, on December 27th 1870 came the sweet chubby girl, to whom was given the name of Amy Jane. She was the sixth in the family of 8 children, 7 girls and 1 boy, viz: Julieth Ward, Marilda A. Madden, Hannah Bacus, Margaret Lindley, Delphina Alexander, Delcie Pearson and Elish Lemuel - excepting Marilda A. and Hannah, all of whom survive her. Under the faster care of that good home, her years passed happily, and on July 2nd 1887 she was joined in holy wedlock with Erasma M. Keller, her heart's choice, who proved himself a loving, tender, faithful and loyal companion, with whom she faithfully and lovingly lived and wrought, until on the morning of May 16th 1923 she answered a harried call and left for the better home of the faithful, aged 52 years, 4 months and 15 days. She was the mother of 5 children, 3 of whom died in infancy. Her two sons, Cluster D. and Paul R. remain as honorable citizens in homes of their own. While in her teen years, she united with the Christian people at Pleasant Grove, which relations she held until coming to Kingman to live. She united with the United Brethern in Christ which relation she held, at the time of her passing. - thanks to Betty D :)
