KEITH, Joan Jerue - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Joan Keith of Veedersburg, age 43, died Saturday morning, September 10, at her home. She was born in DeKalb, Illinois, April 12, 1940, the daughter of Vernon and Verna Jerue. November 13, 1958, she married Alex Keith, who survives. Mrs. Keith had been employed by Medline Corporation in Covington prior to becoming ill two years ago.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Sueann Bowen of Michigan; four sons, Montana of Great Bend, Kansas, Robert, Jimmy and Matthew, all at home; two sisters, Nancy Montgomery of Westville, Illinois, and Betty Inksterman of St. Charles, Illinois; a brother, Donald Jerue of Westville; and four grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Bill Dittmer officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. - s
