KEELING, Russell S. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Russell S. Keeling of Indianapolis, age 75, died Sunday morning, June 27, in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis. He was born in Jackson Township, Fountain County, June 7, 1907, the son of Charles E. and Lucretia Starnes Keeling. In 1931, he married Helen Glezen, who died in November of 1966. He later married Leotha Frick, who survives. Keeling was employed by Standard Oil of Indiana until retirement. He graduated from Hillsboro High School and attended DePauw University.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Donna Peckinpaugh of Indianapolis; two sons, Charles of Los Angeles, California, and James of Greenfield; a sister, Louise Livengood of Kingman; six grandchildren, three stepchildren and several step grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Hendryx Mortuary in Cumberland. Burial was in Washington Park Cemetery at Cumberland. – thanks to S
