KEELING, Robert E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Robert E. Keeling of Veedersburg, age 69, died Wednesday morning, October 7, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. He was born in Mellott, January 31, 1912, the son of Edward and Jessie Erwin Keeling. October 1, 1944, he married Helen Nelson, who survives. He was a member of Fountain County Amateur Radio Club and had moved to Veedersburg in 1977 after retiring from P. R. Mallory Company in Indianapolis.

  Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Miss Betty Lou Nelson of Veedersburg.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. William Ringgold officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery.-s
