Mrs. Mattie KEELING wife of Alfred Keeling died at her home in Hillsboro last Thursday evening about 8 o'clock after an illness of several months duration from a complication of diseases. Since last fall she had made several trips to Lake View Hospital at Danville and Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis with the hope of getting relief. After her return from Indianapolis a few weeks ago her condition grew worse and Wednesday evening she suffered an attacKnights of Pythiasneumonia which caused her death. Mrs. Mattie Keeling was the daughter of Henry and Mamie Curtis and was born at Delavan Ill 57 years ago. She was united in marriage to Alfred Keeling of Hillsboro in 1892 and with the exception of a few years spent at Delavan their married life was spent in Hillsboro and vicinity. She was a member of Lutheran Church near Hillsboro. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Miss Ruthy Keeling at home and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Frazier of Boswell Ind and Miss Ruby Curtis of Delavana Ill and one brother Roy Curtis OF New York City.
