Waynetown - Eva L. Keeling, 88 of Waynetown died at 1:50 p.m. Sunday in Williamsburg Healthcare Inc. at Crawfordsville. She was a housewife and had resided at Waynetown most of her life. She was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church where she taught primary Sunday School classes for many years. She was also a member of the Waynetown American Legion Auxiliary and was educated in Danville, Ill schools. She had a long and active association with Girl Scouts. Mrs. Keeling was born in Fountain County Dec 5, 1898 to Luther B. and Mary Ann Whitaker Barricklow. Her first marriage was to Forrest Hodson who is deceased. Her second marriage Jan 13, 1945 was to Clifford Keeling. He died Oct 19, 1977. She is survived by two stepsons, Robert Keeling of Texas and Dr. Richard Keeling of Kansas; a stepdaughter, Caroline Drouin of California; a sister, Mrs. Frederick G (Margaret) Husler of Indianapolis; 7 stepgrandchildren and step great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. James Hatfield officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 3-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials in the form of contributions may be made to the Brownies, Girl Scouts or Camp Fire Girls organizations. - kbz
