VEEDERSBURG — Carolyn A.
Keeling, 64, Veedersburg, died at 8:34 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006 in the
Heart Center, Indianapolis. She was born Nov. 15, 1941 in Alva, Okla., the
daughter of Selby C. and Georgiana (Richardson) Hill. She married Jury B. Reed
in 1958 in Clinton. He preceded in death in 1986. She then married Dallas E.
Keeling Sept. 11, 1987 in Veedersburg. He survives. She was a member of the
Sterling Christian Church. She had worked at the Fountain Central cafeteria and
enjoyed baking, cake decorating, and working on her computer. Survivors,
besides the husband, include: five daughters, Cathy (James) Trahan, Attica,
Debbie (Roy) Fleeman, Rossville, Cindy (Phil) Hardwick, Lafayette, Becky
Sawyer, Danville, Ill. and Karen Odle, Lafayette; a son, Jury Reed Jr., Attica;
a sister, Evetta Thomas, Danville, Ill.; three brothers, Selby Hill, North
Carolina, Clarence Hill, Danville, Ill. and John Hill, Virgin Islands; eight
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a step son, Curtis Keeling, St.
Charles, Mo., and three step daughters, Carol Sowers, Covington, Cathy
Shumaker, Lafayette, and Christy Meredith, Ogden, Utah. She was also preceded
in death by her parents and a brother. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. today (Wednesday)
with memorial services at 10 a.m. in Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, with
the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Newtown Cemetery.
