KAY, Fred - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington, Ind April 8 – Fred Kay, 59 years old, a former sheriff of Fountain County died yesterday in his home here. Mr. Kay was born in Paris Crossing and was a member of the Newtown ME Church. He owned and operated a meat market in Covington before becoming sheriff in 1932. He served two terms.  Survivors are a daughter, a son, a grandson, a sister and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon in Newtown. Burial in Newtown. - kz
