KAY, Charles Walter - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Charles Walter Kay of Belton, South Carolina, formerly of Covington, age 75, died Tuesday morning, June 15, in Anderson Nursing Home at Anderson, South Carolina. He was born in South Carolina, August 12, 1906, the son of Charles Preston and Florence Fant Kay. He was married to Louise Little, who survives. An engineer with Olin Corporation, he retired in 1968. He was formerly a member of Covington City Council and was a member of Belton First Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Martha Vancil of Belton; three sisters and three grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home in Belton with burial in New Silver Brook Cemetery at Anderson, South Carolina. – thanks to S
