 Rose Mary Kirby of RR 2, Williamsport, age 54, died Friday afternoon, July 1, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. She was born at Potomac, Illinois, June 8, 1929, the daughter of James and Helen Gertrude Shoaf. She first married in 1946 to Edward C. Beavers. In 1957, she married Donald E. Kirby, who died in 1961.

  Survivors include her mother of Attica; two daughters, Mary Josephine Allen of West Lebanon and Jennifer Renee, at home; two sons, William B. Beavers of Danville and Ralphard Wayne Kirby, at home; two sisters, Emma Lou Knowles of RR 4, Attica, and Caroline Farrar of West Lebanon; four brothers, James E. Shoaf of New Richmond, Curtis Lee Shoaf of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Jerry D. Shoaf and Allen Rae Shoaf, both of Williamsport; and five grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport with Rev. David Crawford officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. – thanks so much to S
