Kingman—Manley A. Kenner, 80, Kingman, died at 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 29, 1989 in United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill. He had been a patient for several days.

  He was born Oct. 27, 1908 in Morgan, Ky., the son of Homer and Amy House Kenner. He was married Aug. 27, 1939 to Marie Jones, who survives.

  He served in the U. S. Army during World War II in the Western Pacific. He was retired from Marshall Studio at Veedersburg. He was a member of Freedom Christian Church and Kingman American Legion Post 384.

  Surviving besides the wife are a daughter, Betty Jane Wheeler, Champaign, Ill.; three sons, Richard and Manley Lawrence, both of Zephyr Hills, Fla., and William, Kingman; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren

  Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Woodrow Funeral Home, Kingman, with the Rev. Carl Stetler officiating. Burial was in Centennial Cemetery, east of Yeddo, with military graveside rites by Kingman American Legion Post 384. -s
