JONES, Wayne - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman, Ind. (CNS) - Wayne Jones, 78, of Kingman died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville at 2:50 p.m. Friday (July 4, 1975) He was born July 15, 1895 in Millcreek Township in Fountain County, the son of Calvin Lafayette and Nancy Lindley Jones. On March 11, 1935, he married Mary Allen, who survives. Mr. Jones was a member of the Cates United Methodist Church, the Modern Woodman Lodge of America, and the Masonic Lodge of Yeddo. He was a retired stock dealer and farmer. Survivors include a brother, Gerald Jones of Rockville; a sister, Mrs. Aline Reed of Covington Manor Health Care Center; and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Woodrow Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kingman fraternal cemetery.Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
