PERRYSVILLE, Ind. (CNS) – Services for Mrs. Pearl Jones, 88, a life resident of Perrysville who died early Friday morning (Sept. 24, 1971) at the Tall Trees Nursing Home in Covington, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Henry Karg will officiate. Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery in Perrysville. Friends will be received at the funeral home anytime after 2 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Jones was the daughter of Jacob M. and Isabelle Barnett Smith. Surviving besides her husband, John C., are three daughters, Mrs. Isabel Bowen of Anderson, Mrs. Grace Shutter of North Judson, Mrs. Florence Handt of Oak Forrest, Ill.; a son, John Paul Jones of Champaign, Ill.; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a sister. – jlr
