JONES, Lola Whitaker - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

  Lola E. M. Jones of Danville, Illinois, formerly of the Veedersburg area, age 80, died Thursday morning, January 14, in Danville Care Nursing Home. She was born in Fountain County, April 14, 1901, the daughter of Charles Edward and Rachael Adeline Barr Whitaker. She married Russell Jones, who preceded her in death.

  Survivors include two sons, Leon Jones of Danville, Illinois, and Deward Jones of Cedar City, Utah; two sisters, Ruby Bunnel of Covington and Lillian Moyer of Danville; a brother, James Whitaker of Connersville; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. – thanks so much to “S”
