Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana. The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Hillslboro - Funeral services for Jesse Jones was held at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro Wednesday morning with Rev. George Phelps, pastor of the Newtown Baptist Church officiating. Organ music was played by Mrs. Mary Louise Newman. Serving as pallbearers were: Dewey Schnell; Dwayne Schnell; Albert Galloway; Wesley Jurss and CLaude McCauley, all of Newtown and Jack Kay of Covington. Burial was in the Old Baptist Cemetery west of Newtown.
