JONES, Henry - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Henry JONES, 55, former Crawfordsville resident and brother of Cleo Jones, 508 Whitlock Ave, died Monday morning at his home in Lafayette. Death followed a week's illness. Born July 9, 1901, on a farm in Fountain Co, Mr. Jones was the son of John and Rosanna Jones. Mr. Jones was employed about 10 years at the stockyards here. Later, he was employed at the Country Club in Lafayette. Mr. Jones was married in Lafayette after leaving Crawfordsville. Survivors include the wife, a sister, Stella Burkhalter of Mellott; three brothers, Russell Jones of Lafayette; Emory Jones of Houston, Tx; and Cleo Jones of Crawfordsville. Mr. & Mrs. Jones had no children. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral arrangements were incomplete Monday morning.
