Goldie M. Jones, 87, Marshall, died at 6 a.m. Sunday Oct 12 at her residence. She was born June 12, 1899 in Fountain County. She married Josiah Jones Dec 29, 1918. He survives. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Darrell W. Jones, Waynetown and J. Gene Jones, Marshall; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Davis, Terre Haute, 11 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Iva Mae Walls, Marshall. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Marshall Baptist Church with Pastor Perry Stakes officiating. Burial was in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Marshall, Ind. Rice Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
