JONES, George W.

Miss Mary Jones of Danville received a cablegram on Wednesday from Hamilton, Bermuda saying that Dr. George W. Jones was dead. The readers of the Friend will remember that Dr. Jones went to a sanitarium at Cincinnati last spring for treatment for nervous prostration. He improved and came home at Thanksgiving but feeling the need of more rest, went in company with a friend to the Island of Bermuda hoping to be farther benefited. His letters have all been cheerful and hopeful and it was believed he was getting well. The cable gave no particulars. His remains will be brought home. The doctor was reared in this city and will be well remembered by our people.
