JOLLEY, Orville - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Orville Jolley, 76, Tilton, Illinois, died at 3:15 p.m. Monday, November 21, at Lakeview Medical Center. He was the father of Mrs. Shirley Jones of Attica.

  Born May 31, 1907 in Bismarck, Illinois, eh was the son of Benton and Etta Kilbury Jolley. His first wife, Amelia, died in 1972. On September 4, 1983, he married Katie Fisher, in Danville, who survives.

  He worked at the cupola with General Motors Central Foundry Division Plant in Tilton for 20 years, retiring in 1968.

  Other survivors include a son, Adelbert Jolley of Orlando, Florida; two other daughters, Mrs. Lucille Metcalf of California, and Mrs. Linda Lovins of Pembroke Pines, Florida; 14 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Martha Bever of Danville. He was preceded in death by a son Richard, a sister, and four brothers.

  Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Barrick and Sons Funeral Home in Tilton with Rev. Paul Geisler officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. – thanks to S
