George William Johnston, 34 of Attica died Monday morning in Community Hospital in Williamsport. Born July 12, 1925 in Warren County, he was the son of James and Ruth Sweeny Johnston. He was married in 1944 to Clara Mae Hershberger who survives. Other survivors include his parents; a son, George W. Jr; three daughters, Jean Ann, Julia Kay and Jody Belle and a brother, Wilbur of Lafayette. Services were held Wednesday with burial in Independence cemetery. – kbz
