Lebanon—Wilma J. “Billie” Johnson, 45, Lebanon, died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 1989,in Witham Hospital, Lebanon. She had been in ill health for some time.
She was born Jan. 19, 1944 at Lebanon, the daughter of Chester and Mary Janice Mace Neese. She was married Dec. 6, 1963 in Boone County to Eugene Johnson, who survives.
She was a life resident of Boone County and had been employed at Commercial Filters at Lebanon. She was a volunteer worker at Witham Hospital. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1962. She helped her husband in his business and his ministry. She was an active member of Pleasant Hill United Church of Christ at Wingate, where her husband is a minister.
Surviving besides her husband are her parents of Lebanon; two sons, Keith and Rick, both of Lebanon; three brothers, Ronald, Donald and Richard, all of Lebanon; two sisters, Ellen Johnson and Robin Rawlings, both of Lebanon, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday in First United Church of Christ, Lebanon, with the Rev. Verlin Smith and Dr. Don Buckshee officiating. Burial was in Browns Wonder Cemetery.
