J. Frank Johnson, 75, of Attica Route 3, died Sunday (May 9, 1971) at Community Hospital in Williamsport. He had been in ill health four years. Born Feb. 1, 1896, near Rainesville in Warren County, he was the son of Jacob and Elizabeth Simonton Johnson. He resided in Detroit, Mich., for 25 years and returned to Warren County 21 years ago. He was married Aug. 1, 1947, in Nepoleon, Ohio, to Theodora Swiderski, who survives. He attended school at Judyville. He was a steam fitter and plumber. While residing in Detroit, he was employed by the U. S. Rubber Co. and for the last 18 years, he and his wife have owned and operated the Pink Front Market at the Y Junction in Warren County. He was a member of St. Franc's Xavier Catholic Church. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Janet Boyle of Attica Route l; a brother, William R. of Holt, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Laura Corwin of Williamsport and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister. Services Wednesday at the DeSutter Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Matsuzal officiating. Burial in Highland Cemetery. - jlr
